He work as an associate professor at Al-Azhar University in Assuit, Egypt, he is currently on a secondment as an assistant professor at Taibah University in Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's College of Pharmacy.  He began his profession by graduating from Al-Azhar University in Assuit, Faculty of Pharmacy with a Bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical sciences and pharmacognosy, He received his master's degree from Assiut University in Egypt. At Al-Azhar University. He earned his PhD from Kanazawa University in Japan in the field of pharmaceutical sciences and natural product chemistry. Next, take a postdoctoral position at Yamagata University. 

He received over 27 certifications from Harvard Medical School and Standfor Medical School in the United States  (CME courses) and 9 certificates from the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, in the United States (for complementary and alternative medicine). He has been instructing pharmacy students in alternative medicine for more than 17 years. He has designed and participated in community projects pertaining to autism condition, attended numerous international conferences, and supevised many master's theses. His publications are numerous.

He and his colleagues discovered and identified the anticancer natural compounds sidrin and sidroside, which exhibit specific antitumor action against various types of cancer and are safe for normal cells. published in the Saudi Pharmaceutical Journal (Elsevier SPJ) in 2023. Also He serves as an editor member for scientific journals such as the Journal of Pharmacy and Drug Development. He also serve as reviewer for scientific journals such as Elsevier publisher (Saudi Pharmaceutical Journal), Acta Poloniae Pharmaceutica - Drug Research Journal, Public Health and Toxicology Journal, Bentham Science (Anti-Cancer Agents in Medicinal Chemistry Journal, Current Cancer Drug Targets Journal, Combinatorial Chemistry & High Throughput Screening Journal), and he holds memberships in numerous organizations e.g American Chemical Society (ACS) he serve as advisor for several Arab Natural Medicine Forum, Arab Pharmacists Forum, and Challenge Handicap Forum. He has also participated in numerous community activities..
