Dr.Ling Yin is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Health and Medicine, Hefei
Comprehensive National Science Center. She holds a Ph.D. in Vegetable Genetics and
Breeding from South China Agricultural University (2016), where she studied glucoraphanin
biosynthesis in Chinese kale, and a B.S. in Plant Science from Qingdao Agricultural
University (2009).
Dr.Yin's research focuses on cancer therapeutics and inflammation, leveraging gene
therapy and molecular biology to bridge basic science and clinical applications. Her work
integrates genomics, immunology, and precision medicine, exemplified by her
development of AAV-based delivery systems for liver cancer treatment (Gene Therapy,
2021) and investigations into NLRP3 inflammasome mechanisms (Drug Discovery Today,
2025). She has held positions at the University of Florida (Postdoctoral Associate, 2021
2022; Biological Scientist II, 2022-2025) and mentored graduate and undergraduate
students.
A recognized expert in her field, Dr.Yin serves as an editor for multiple international
journals (e.g., Cancer Treatment and Survivorship, The European Journal of Cancer) and
has been invited to speak at global conferences. She has received awards such as the
"Class E High-Caliber Talent of Anhui Province" (2025) and the "Global Recognition Award"
(2024).
